Search For YOUR Purpose, Not Life’s Purpose
Searching in the Wrong Places
What is the purpose of life? It’s perhaps one of the most asked questions in all of human history — and for good reason.
Without understanding what it is that we are actually supposed to do during our time on this planet, life can remain a complete mystery.
For most of us, that can be really terrifying. We hate mysteries, uncertainty, and the feeling of not knowing or being distant from the Truth. We might even believe that just knowing the Truth can be enough to be at peace and to feel fulfilled.
But just knowing the Truth is not enough. We must act upon it.
Wisdom without action is not really useful at all. It’s as if we are filling our cup (e.g. our mind) with water (e.g. wisdom), but not drinking from that cup at all (e.g. taking action or putting it into practical use). That is, we will never truly feel nourished until we make use of this wisdom.
But even if we understand this, are we even asking the right question in the first place? Does life really have a purpose, and if so, can we ever find it?
It can be a chilling thought to ponder, but just think about it for a moment: how much wisdom do you think you would need to gain or have in order to crack this code and…
